Why this mocktail is healthy

Yes, this tastes fantastic, but as a nutritionist and certified lifestyle medicine professional, I also love the nutritional density of this spicy margarita mocktail.

Using fresh jalapeno peppers adds micronutrients like Vitamins A, C, and K, as well as folate and potassium. This spicy green beauty also adds a beneficial bioactive compound called capsaicin, which may have anti-cancer, anti-obesity, and antioxidant properties. If you want to deep-dive into the research, check out this review article, Antioxidant, Anti-Obesity, Nutritional and Other Beneficial Effects of Different Chili Pepper.

The fresh lime juice, pineapple, orange juice, and grapes boost the antioxidant benefits of this mocktail by adding more Vitamin C. Enjoying this with some homemade guacamole or healthy girl dinner will enhance the antioxidant benefits by adding some vitamin E.
