Whoa! This healthy mojito mocktail is the real deal. What's the secret to this fantastic drink? Sweet frozen green grapes, fresh lime juice, and fresh mint. It's refreshing, frosty, tasty, and made with no added sugar or alcohol.

What's in this healthy mojito mocktail:

  1. Green grapes
  2. Fresh mint
  3. Lime
  4. Sparkling water
Key ingredients for healthy mojito mocktail: frozen green grapes, fresh mint, fresh lime and sparkling water.

The frozen green grapes give this mocktail sweetness and chill. The muddled lime adds tang. Fresh mint gives this drink a subtle sweet-cool sensation while the sparkling water lightly dances on your tongue.

How to prepare this healthy mocktail

Muddle the lime and mint together in a tall glass.

Two tall glasses with fresh mint and lime, one glass has a muddle inside.

Add frozen green grapes and sparkling water to a high-speed blender. Blend until grapes are macerated, about 30 to 60 seconds. The mixture should be icy and slushy.

Pour icy grape mixture into the tall glass with lime and mint. Stir and garnish with a fresh mint leaf and lime wedge. Enjoy!

The inspiration for this mocktail is the Starbucks Pink Drink Copycat (ELEVATED). Until then, I hadn't thought of using frozen grapes as a substitute for simple syrup, typically made with refined sugar and water to sweeten drinks. By using frozen green grapes, you're getting the nutrients in the grape's skin, plus all that fabulous fiber.

This refreshing, non-alcoholic mocktail is perfect for unwinding after a long day at work, a girls' night, or a holiday get-together. It is the perfect complement to Vegan Nachos, Veggie Pizza, and Jalapeno Poppers.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I make a mojito mocktail without alcohol?

Yes, you can make a delicious mojito mocktail without alcohol. Simply omit the rum and replace it with an alternative ingredient for flavor, such as extra lime juice and mint. Sparkling water (or club soda) mimics the carbonation found in a mojito.

What are some non-alcoholic substitutes for rum in a mojito mocktail?

There are several non-alcoholic substitutes you can use to replace rum in a mojito mocktail. For example, coconut water or coconut milk can give your mojito mocktail a tropical twist. Pineapple juice (or frozen pineapple) could be used in lieu of frozen grapes for sweetness and flavor. Adding fresh ginger could give it a spicy kick.

How can I make a healthier version of a mojito mocktail?

Using whole plant food ingredients will give you a healthier version. Frozen grapes or pineapple provide wonderful substitutes for added sugar. Fresh mint and lime can also be enjoyed with this drink. Fresh mint has a number of health benefits, such as helping with digestion and freshening your breath.

This was surprisingly good. I was a big mojito drinker back in the day and skeptical that it would be a good, healthy replacement. But it was fantastic. I'll definitely be making this again.
