Jalapeno Lime Aioli

This vegan jalapeno lime aioli will become your new favorite sauce. It is tangy, smoky, and spicy, oil-free, soy-free, dairy-free, and gluten-free.

This spicy sauce goes beautifully on the vegan banh mi salad, vegan black bean sliders, hearty black bean breakfast wrap, mushroom fajitas, vegan black bean tacos, grilled veggies, and more.

This sauce is great for those who are looking for recipes with no cilantro.

This is a modified version of the jalapeno-lime aioli found in the Vegan Comfort Food Classics cookbook.

What's in this vegan aioli sauce

  1. Homemade vegan mayo
  2. Pickled jalapenos, drained
  3. Lime
  4. Chili powder
  5. Ground cumin
  6. Coconut aminos
Ingredients for vegan jalapeno lime aioli: pickled jalapenos, chili powder, cumin, coconut aminos, vegan mayo and lime.

This recipe uses a homemade, cashew-based vegan mayo. If you want a nut-free or low-fat version of this mayo, use the tofu-based vegan mayo.

How to prepare

Zest the lime using a microplane grater or zester. The zest is where most of the flavor is in the lime.

Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth and creamy.

Enjoy immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 7 days.

This oil-free vegan jalapeno lime aioli will become your new favorite sauce. This tangy, smoky, and spicy aioli is oil-free, soy-free, and gluten-free.

Ingredients  

  • ½ cup homemade vegan mayo
  • ¼ cup pickled jalapenos drained
  • ¼ tsp lime zest
  • 1 Tbsp fresh lime juice
  • ¼ tsp chili powder
  • ¼ tsp ground cumin
  • 2 tsp coconut aminos
  • 1 to 3 Tbsp water use more water for a thinner consistency

  • Use a microplane grater to zest the lime.
  • Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth and creamy.
  • Enjoy immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 7 days.
