Recipe FAQs

How do I store leftovers?

It’s best to remove the ice before storing so it doesn’t get watered down. Store in an airtight container, like a mason jar with a lid, in the fridge for up to 24 hours. Give it a good shake before drinking.

Is a pumpkin matcha latte healthy?

Yes, especially when made at home with real pumpkin puree, unsweetened soy milk, and minimal natural sweeteners. You get antioxidants, fiber, and plant-based nutrients without the added refined sugar or dairy found in coffee shop versions.

Can I make a pumpkin matcha latte without dairy?

Absolutely. This recipe is completely dairy-free and uses soy milk, which adds creaminess and plant-based protein.

What does pumpkin matcha latte taste like?

It’s a perfect balance of cozy pumpkin spice and slightly earthy matcha, sweetened with maple syrup. Creamy, smooth, and slightly frothy with a subtle spice kick.

Can I make this hot instead of iced?

After blending the pumpkin mixture, warm it over medium heat on the stove and pour it into your favorite mug. Then warm the matcha mixture on low heat and pour it into the mug with the pumpkin mixture.

How much caffeine is in a matcha latte?

A ½ to 1 teaspoon serving of matcha powder typically contains 35–70mg of caffeine, less than a cup of coffee but with more sustained energy thanks to L-theanine.
