How to Make It

Prepare your ingredients: Wash the apples, celery, parsley, and ginger thoroughly. Consider soaking your produce in water with a splash of vinegar to remove any residue.

Chop as needed: Cut the apples into quarters and remove the stems. If your juicer struggles with large pieces, chop the celery into smaller segments. Ginger can be used with the peel on for extra nutrients.

Juice it up: Feed all the ingredients through your juicer. If you want cold juice, add a cup of ice to your juicer's pitcher to quickly chill the juice when it comes out.

Enjoy or store: Enjoy immediately. Store leftover juice in airtight containers (e.g., Mason jars) for up to 24 hours. Shake well before drinking.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I make this juice in a blender instead of a juicer?

Yes! Blend all the ingredients with about ½ to 1 cup of water, then strain through a nut milk bag or fine mesh sieve for a smoother consistency.

How long does this juice last?

Fresh juice is best consumed immediately, but you can store it in an airtight glass container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. Adding a squeeze of lemon juice can help preserve freshness.

Can I substitute any ingredients?

Absolutely! Try swapping apples for pears for a milder sweetness or replacing parsley with cilantro for an extra detox boost.

Is this juice safe for kids?

Yes! However, the ginger might be too spicy for some kids. Start with a smaller amount of ginger and adjust based on their taste preferences.

Can I drink this every day?

Yes! This juice is a great way to boost hydration and nutrition daily. However, balance it with whole foods and other juices to get a variety of nutrients.

What’s the best time to drink this juice?

For the best benefits, drink this juice first thing in the morning on an empty stomach to maximize absorption and hydration.
