Carrot Apple Celery Juice?

Carrot apple celery juice is more than just a nice drink; it’s a wellness booster that has many benefits:

  1. Packed with Vitamins and Antioxidants: Carrots are full of beta-carotene, a precursor to vitamin A that’s good for skin, eyes, and immune function. Apples have vitamin C and polyphenols for overall health. Celery adds vitamin K, potassium, and antioxidants to the mix.
  2. Supports Digestive Health: The natural fiber in carrots, apples, and celery helps with digestion. Juicing removes some of the fiber but retains the enzymes and nutrients that can calm the digestive tract.
  3. Hydrating and Refreshing: High water content keeps you hydrated and delivers a flavor and nutrition punch.
  4. Detoxifying: Celery is detoxifying and helps to flush out toxins and liver health.
  5. Gentle on the Stomach: This juice is easy on the stomach and great for when you’re feeling under the weather or looking for a lighter option instead of heavy meals.

How to Prepare

Wash all the produce under running water to remove any dirt or debris. Trim the ends of celery and carrots. Carefully remove rough spots on carrots with a knife or peeler. If necessary, cut apple, celery, and carrots into chunks to fit into the juicer feed tube.

Follow your juicer's instructions to set it up. Juice the carrots, apples, celery, and (if using) lemon and ginger root.

Stir well to combine. Pour into glasses and drink immediately to preserve the freshness and nutrients. To make it fancy, garnish with a slice of apple or a celery sprig.

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.

Tip: If you don’t have a juicer, you can use a high-speed blender. Blend with water and strain through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth to remove the pulp.

Pro Tips for Preparing Amazing Juice

  1. Use Fresh: Fresh produce makes for better flavor and nutrient content. Organic is preferred to minimize pesticides.
  2. Chilled: If you like it chilled, add ice to the pitcher before juicing.
  3. Drink Immediately: Fresh juice tastes best straight away. If you need to store it, use an airtight container and refrigerate it for up to 24 hours.
  4. Play with Ratios: Adjust to taste.
  5. Invest in a Good Juicer: A good juicer makes a big difference. We like the Breville and Nama brands.
