Wash all the produce under running water to remove any dirt or debris. Trim the ends of celery and carrots. Carefully remove rough spots on carrots with a knife or peeler. If necessary, cut apple, celery, and carrots into chunks to fit into the juicer feed tube.
Follow your juicer's instructions to set it up. Juice the carrots, apples, celery, and (if using) lemon and ginger root.
Stir well to combine. Pour into glasses and drink immediately to preserve the freshness and nutrients. To make it fancy, garnish with a slice of apple or a celery sprig.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
