Serving Suggestions
This latte is wonderful to enjoy on its own. Still, if you want to lean into the pumpkin spice season, it goes wonderfully with our Pumpkin Spice Pancakes, Pumpkin Spice Overnight Oats, Pumpkin Spice Granola, Pumpkin Spice Quinoa Breakfast Bake, and Pumpkin Oatmeal Bars. This last one is a Daniel Fast Meal Prep favorite.
Beyond the usual pumpkin favorites, this latte goes wonderfully with Whole Wheat Bagels and Pesto Avocado Toast.
Recipe FAQs
The popularity of pumpkin spice lattes (PSLs, for short) began with a major coffee chain that invested substantial amounts of money in advertising its version of this drink. Pumpkin spice, in general, invokes a feeling that the fall season is upon us. Meaning, the temperatures are cooling, tree leaves are falling, and this spice provides a warm, comforting feeling.
If you want to level-up the nutritional density of this lovely latte, adding mushroom powder is an easy way to do it. Mushrooms have immunity boosting benefits. The mushroom taste is very mild if detectable at all. Again, it's completely optional.
This version of the latte is not over sweet, in my opinion. If, however, you prefer a sweeter latte, just add more Simple Homemade Date Syrup.
This latte is best enjoyed immediately. If you have any leftover or are making the mixture ahead, store it in an airtight container (like a mason jar) in the fridge for up to 2 days.

This Pumpkin Spice Milk Latte is a delicious way to embrace the season or simply elevate your daily beverage routine. It’s comforting, clean, and easy to make, with just the right balance of warm spices and creamy pumpkin flavor. Whether you sip it as a morning ritual or an afternoon treat, this latte brings the café vibes home, without the sugar crash.
