About Gigi Carter
With a passion for all things wellness, Gigi Carter finds her purpose in helping people come up higher in their pursuit of excellence in health and lifestyle. Her enthusiasm and expertise are evident as one of the masterminds behind the creation of Healthy for My Purpose.
Gigi made the switch in 2016 to pursue her Masterโs in nutrition sciences from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and graduated with honors. She's a licensed Nutritionist in the state of Washington and Diplomate and Certified Lifestyle Medicine Professional through the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. She has a certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition from eCornell University. Oh yes, Gigi is also the author of The Plant-Based Workplace, where sheโs been interviewed or mentioned in Forbes, The New York Times Opinion, Vegconomist, GreenBiz, and University of Alabama School of Health Professions. Gigi is also co-author of the childrenโs book The Spinach in My Teeth, and co-author of Daniel Fast: Why You Should Only Do It Once.
About Sersie Blue
Like many of you out there, Sersie Blue is an overcomer of a profound personal tragedy. During her second pregnancy, she experienced health issues. It was in this difficult season of her life she realized a deeper need for the Lord and decided to lean into Him more and participate in a one-month Daniel Fast. Little did she know that this simple decision would transform her life. But God knew! It turns out that combining intentional prayer with a whole-food, plant-based diet was a divine bridge to a breakthrough. From this, "The Faithful Vegan" was born, and she's been helping people with the Daniel Fast for over 12 years.
Sersie also hosts the Healthy for My Purpose podcast. Seeking after God from an early age, she graduated from the University of Windsor with a Bachelorโs degree in Communications. She went on to Tyndale College & Seminary, graduating with a Masterโs of Divinity in Counseling. Sersie has also completed the health coach program from Wellcoaches at the University of North Florida. She continually seeks knowledge and wisdom that supports her personal growth and that of others. In addition, she is co-author of Daniel Fast: Why You Should Only Do It Once. As you can see, her passionate pursuit of God, wellness & coaching comes together in co-founding Healthy for My Purpose.
