Ingredients

plain unsweetened soy milk
or
homemade almond milk

grated fresh ginger root

tsp
fresh grated fresh turmeric root
or ¼ tsp dry ground turmeric

Simple Homemade Date Syrup
for sweetness

ground cinnamon

Instructions
Grate ginger root and *turmeric root using a
microplane grater
.
Place all ingredients into a small pot on the stovetop.
Use a whisk to stir and incorporate all the ingredients.
Over medium heat, bring to a simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.
Carefully pour the heated golden milk latte into your favorite mug through a
fine mesh strainer
, and enjoy!

*Don't have fresh turmeric? You can substitute with a ¼ teaspoon of dry ground turmeric.
