Description
This tasty and healthy 5-minute strawberry balsamic dressing is great for weight loss. It's gluten-free, oil-free, soy-free, nut-free, low-fat, no added sugar, low-calorie, and vegan.
Ingredients
- 1 cup strawberries
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1 Tbsp Simple Homemade Date Syrup
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup unsweetened apple sauce
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
Instructions
Put all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth and creamy.
Give it a taste. If you prefer more sweetness or tanginess, add 1 to 2 teaspoons of simple homemade date syrup, balsamic vinegar, or lemon juice.
This recipe makes about two cups of salad dressing or eight servings.
Leftovers keep well in an airtight container like a 16-ounce mason jar for up to five days.
