This simple, yummy peach banana smoothie is great any time of the day and any time of the year. Made with four simple ingredients, this creamy and perfectly sweet vegan peach smoothie is gluten-free, soy-free, and ready in 5 minutes.
- 2 cups frozen or fresh (pitted) peaches
- 1 medium or large banana, ripe
- 1 cup unsweetened, plain almond milk
- 1 Tbsp hemp hearts
- lime zest
- nuts (walnuts, pecans, almonds)
- fresh blueberries
Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender and blend until smooth and creamy. If using fresh pitted peaches, add some ice to make it cold. If using, add toppings and enjoy!
Store leftovers in an air-tight container, like a mason jar, for up to 24 hours in the refrigerator.
Meal prep this smoothie
If meal prepping, pour the smoothie mixture into ice cube trays. Freeze the mixture, transfer it to freezer-safe bags, and freeze for up to 3 months. When you're ready to drink, add the frozen smoothie cubes to the high-speed blender with almond milk and blend until smooth and creamy.
Alternatively, portion out chopped fruit and hemp hearts, and add them to a freezer-safe bag. When ready to make, add the contents of the bag to the high-speed blender with almond milk and blend until smooth.
