Ingredients

1 cup unsweetened almond milk or soymilk
1 cinnamon stick or pinch of ground cinnamon
1 date, pitted and roughly chopped
2-inch piece of fresh turmeric (or 1/4 tsp turmeric, ground)
2-inch piece of fresh ginger, sliced
Pinch of black pepper, sliced
Ground cinnamon for dusting
Instructions
Place all ingredients into a small saucepan. Warm over low heat and stir often. Strain milk into a cup and serve. Dust with ground cinnamon.
