This refreshing, tasty celery smoothie is so good for you! It's great for helping to lower high blood pressure, replenishing electrolytes and is also a winner when it comes to weight loss. With only five key ingredients plus ice, this celery smoothie will become a regular in your routine.
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1/2 cup chopped cucumber (with skin)
- 1/2 banana (or apple)
- 17 oz. plain unsweetened coconut water
- 1 to 2 cups ice
- 1/4 fresh lime
Add celery, cucumber, banana (or apple), ice, and unsweetened coconut water into a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into a glass and squirt fresh lime juice, and enjoy!
If meal prepping, transfer to an airtight container (like a mason jar with lid) and refrigerate. Consume within 24 hours. Alternatively, portion out chopped celery, cucumber, and banana (or apple) into individual freezer bags and freeze. When ready to drink, add the contents from the freezer bag to a high-speed blender and blend with coconut water plus an extra cup of regular tap or filtered water until smooth. Top with fresh lime juice, and enjoy.
